The new Hive Franchisee will need to understand the value of excellent customer service and be able to foster a welcoming atmosphere. They should also be able to manage and motivate a team, ensuring that staff are engaged and providing the best experience possible. They will also need to be capable of driving sales through events like quiz nights, live music, sports or seasonal promotions. Experience in managing a busy venue with a diverse demographic will be crucial. Key facts • Upfront cost: £5,000 • Forecasted operator turnover: £591,051 Entry costs Entry cost of £5000 is payable on change day. This includes legal fees and start up training costs. An extra £3,000 will be required as working capital, to ensure there is sufficient cash flow in the business before we make our first payment to you. You will be responsible for paying any staff wages including Employers National Insurance, liability insurances to protect the business and the public, TV licence and council tax for private accommodation. Trading space The trade areas feature a sports zone (offering 45 covers) and bar area (offering 26 covers) with both positioned near the bar counter, providing seating for customers around the bar with a combination of high and low level furniture. The dining area (offering 46 Covers) is in the right hand section of the building. The external area offers two outdoor drinking spaces, one on each side of the main entrance, equipped with pergolas and seating. There is also a car park offering 18 spaces.
